Considering the fact that SMEs are playing a key role in Singapore’s economy by accounting for 99% of the country’s enterprises, it becomes imperative for the government also to nourish SMEs. There are a number of government grants announced for Singapore companies to help them overcome impediments in path of their growth.
SME grants Singapore includes Business Improvement Fund for improving productivity and competitiveness. The grants like Career Support Program to encourage employers to hire eligible Singapore citizen Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians. Enhanced Training Support, among SME grants Singapore is aimed at encouraging SMEs to send employees for training, skills development and technology up-gradation.
